KoC Fan Comic - 14

Mountain Folk are sort of like the dwarfs of Exalted. They are basically a more perfect race born of Fair Folk trapped in fabric of creation when the Primordials forged it from the Wyld. They also served as the blue print for most intelligent life in creation when the Primordials decided to try their hand at creating mortals. Sadly the Mountain Folk ended up with the sort end of the stick in life as the whole race was cursed at the request of the Exalted since they were worried about they being all perfect like and possibly taking over the place. Since then their life has pretty much sucked being forgotten and trapped underground with most of their race ending up as small and (by Mountain Folk standards) stupid workers and only a few becoming the middle of the road warriors and fewer still as fully realized Artisans.
